A one-day safari in Mikumi National Park is a great option for those who want to see the real wildlife of Tanzania without spending several days on the road. From Zanzibar, you will take a direct flight to Mikumi, followed by a full 4x4 safari accompanied by a qualified guide-ranger. Mikumi National Park is located in central Tanzania, in a picturesque area near the Ruaha River. During the safari, you can encounter zebras, giraffes, impalas, wildebeests, warthogs, buffaloes, elephants, lions, and other representatives of African fauna. After lunch, the safari continues, and in the evening, you will return to Zanzibar on a direct flight.
05:00 — Departure from the hotel in Zanzibar and transfer to the airport. Before the early departure, it is recommended to request a lunch box from the hotel in advance. 07:10 — flight from Zanzibar to Mikumi. Upon arrival at the airport, meet the team and depart for the safari. Next, the main part of the program begins—a 4x4 safari through the national park. During the trip, you will be able to observe wild animals in their natural habitat and take photos. Possible sightings include zebras, giraffes, impalas, wildebeests, warthogs, buffaloes, elephants, lions, and other animals. There is a lunch break in the middle of the day, after which the safari continues. 16:30 — return flight from Mikumi to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, airport pickup and transfer back to the hotel. Around 18:30 — return to the hotel.
