In just three days, you will see the main highlights Tanzania is famous for. In the park Tarangire herds of elephants and giraffes await you in the crater Ngorongoro — encounters with predators and rare animals, and of course the legendary Kilimanjaro. You will try coffee brewed by wild tribes and spend time in the park. Serval Wildlife, where you can feed animals right from your hands.

Day 1. Tarangire

5:00 AM - Departure from hotel and airport transfer

  • 7:40 AM – 9:00 AM — Flight to Arusha, meeting with a Russian-speaking guide
  • Transfer to the National Tarangire National Park (about 1.5 hours)
  • Safari through the territory of one of Tanzania's most picturesque parks
  • Baobabs, elephants, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, prides of lions, cheetahs
  • Famous Tarangire River, where animals gather to water
  • A story about poachers hiding in a hollow baobab tree
  • Lunch with a river view — hot dishes in a specially equipped area
  • After the safari, transfer to Arusha (2.5 hours)
  • Dinner
  • Night in the lodge

Day 2. Ngorongoro Crater

  • Breakfast
  • Departure to the Ngorongoro Crater
  • Descent into Ngorongoro Crater like a journey to another world. In this ancient volcano, life is buzzing everywhere: Thousands of animals graze on the endless plains, flamingos shimmer in the lagoons, and eagles soar above the savannah. Nowhere else can you see so much of wild Africa up close in one place.
  • Lunch
  • Lake Magadi. Here you will see hippos, buffaloes, black rhinos, zebras, antelopes and many predators, including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, leopards and jackals.
  • Dinner
  • Night in the lodge.

Day 3. Serval Wildlife, Kilimanjaro, and the Chagga tribe

  • Breakfast
  • 8:00 Departure for Kilimanjaro (the drive will take about 2 hours)
  • Kilimanjaro Safari and Materuni Waterfall (90 meters high)
  • Getting to Know the Life of the Chaga Tribe — authentic villages, traditions, and way of life
  • Lunch
  • Visiting coffee plantations: from bean harvesting to cooking coffee over a fire with songs and dances by locals
  • Serval Wildlife Contact Zoo Tour with animal feeding (2 hours)
  • Airport transfer
  • 21:30 departure to Zanzibar
  • Airport meeting and hotel transfer

What should I bring?

  • Passport. Even though Zanzibar is part of Tanzania, we all go through passport control at the airport.
  • Comfortable shoes and clothing. Llightweight pants, long-sleeved shirt, t-shirt, personal items (up to 5 kg)
  • A jacket, in case of rain or a cool evening
  • Photo and video equipment. Charge your devices in advance.
  • Break your money into small bills. They’ll come in handy for buying souvenirs and tipping the rangers. The recommended tip is 5$ per person.
  • Morning snack (at the hotel reception, explain that you are leaving early in the morning for an excursion and need a lunch box, the hotel will provide this service free of charge)
  • Sunglasses and a panama hat, sunscreen
  • Personal hygiene products, personal first-aid kit
