8:00 a.m.: Departure from the hotel and transfer to the harbor in Stone Town. Upon arrival in Stone Town, the group boards a boat around 9:00 a.m. and heads to Turtle Island, also known as Prison Island or Changu. The boat ride takes 40 minutes. Part of the island is home to a reserve for giant tortoises, the oldest of which is 200 years old. Tortoise feeding and free time. On the other side of the island, the buildings of the former prison have been preserved, offering breathtaking views. At 11:00 a.m., we head to Nakupenda Island—the embodiment of sailors’ legends about land that appears and disappears. The picturesque sandy spit seems made for spectacular photos and a romantic getaway. 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.: swimming, relaxation, and a seafood lunch on the island. Around 2:30 PM, it will be time for the island to submerge, and we’ll head by boat to Stone Town. The trip will take about 40 minutes. 3:10 PM: Start of the Stone Town tour.
