1:30 a.m. — We’ll depart from the hotel in the early morning. The drive takes about 6–7 hours, with rest stops and bathroom breaks along the way to make the trip more comfortable. Upon arrival in Cairo, we will begin our tour with a visit to the Egyptian Museum—one of the most significant museums of Ancient Egypt. Here you will see ancient artifacts of the pharaohs, treasures of Ancient Egypt, and unique exhibits from various historical eras, which offer a deeper understanding of the country’s millennia-old history. Next, we will take a panoramic tour of Cairo and go on a boat ride along the Nile (optional, for an additional fee of +10$), followed by lunch at a buffet-style restaurant.
Then we will head to the Giza Plateau, where the famous Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx are located. You will see the Pyramid of Khufu, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, as well as the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, walk around the complex, and take photos from the best panoramic viewpoints. If tickets are available, it's possible to descend into the smaller pyramid – the pyramid of Khufu's wife. To conclude the program, we will visit a papyrus and natural oils factory, after which, at 10:30 PM, you will return to your hotel after a fulfilling day of sightseeing in Cairo.
