01:00 — Night departure from the hotel. We will travel to Cairo by comfortable, air-conditioned bus. The journey takes approximately 6-7 hours, with stops for rest and restrooms along the way to make the trip more comfortable. After arriving in Cairo, the sightseeing program begins with a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, the largest archaeological museum in the world. Its construction cost $1 billion, underscoring its scale and global significance. Inside, you will find modern multimedia halls, the treasures of Tutankhamun, ancient Egyptian artifacts, and rare exhibits, as well as panoramic views of the Giza pyramids directly from the museum complex. Next, a panoramic tour of Cairo and a buffet lunch at a restaurant are planned.
After this, we will head to the Giza Plateau, where the famous Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx are located. You will see the Pyramid of Khufu – the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World, as well as the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure. Here, you will have the opportunity to walk around the complex, take photos, and enjoy free time at the foot of the ancient structures. To conclude the program, we will visit a papyrus and natural oils factory, after which, at 11:00 PM, we will return to the hotel after a full day in Cairo dedicated to ancient Egyptian history.
