To get delicious Australian macadamia nuts, orangutans and chimpanzees have to spend a couple of hours. To crack the tough nut shell, they need to show ingenuity and even use a stone for it. Or, for example, another technical solution is frequently changing reliefs on barriers and enclosure designs. This gives the animals an interest in their daily lives – to find and explore what's new.
The «Fragile Forest» exhibition invites you on a journey into a rainforest, where numerous fluttering butterflies, forest dew, the sound of a waterfall, mighty trees, delicate ferns, and a huge diversity of animals like golden-headed tamarins, mouse deer, striped lemurs, colorful parrots, sloths, and fruit bats will make your walk an extraordinary adventure. Also, take a stroll through other exhibitions presented at the zoo, dedicated to various animals – «Treetop Trails,» «Wild Africa,» «Underwater World Animals,» «Primates,» «Great Barrier Reef Valley,» «Reptile Garden,» and «Cat Family.» Return to the hotel around 1:30 PM.
