Description

Cairo and its Pyramid of Cheops are rightfully considered the oldest and only artifact that has survived from the list of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World to our time. The capital of Egypt, Cairo, with a population of over 20 million, is located 500 km from Sharm El Sheikh. In Cairo, you will visit the Egyptian National Museum, the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, a papyrus factory, an oil and perfume factory, and have lunch on the banks of the Nile. You will also have the opportunity to sail on the Nile on a felucca. At the end of the day, the return journey to Sharm and by midnight, you will be back at your hotel. Departure from hotels starts from 01:00 AM, depending on the location of the hotel. In a comfortable bus with air conditioning and a toilet, you will head to Cairo, and the journey takes about 5-6 hours. The tour begins with a visit to the Egyptian National Museum, which is the unparalleled custodian of the world’s largest archaeological collection relating to all historical periods of ancient Egypt up to the Greco-Roman period. The collection includes about 160,000 artifacts, including the contents of Tutankhamun’s tomb and mummies. Optional! A trip along the Nile on a Felucca sailboat – $10. 45 minutes for relaxation and fantastic photos, away from the noise of the city. Lunch at a panoramic spot in a restaurant by the Nile. After lunch, you will head to the place where time seems to stand still, to the symbol of Egypt – the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. Egypt is home to over 100 pyramids, but the most famous are the Pyramids of Giza, considered the first wonder of the world. Giza is a suburb of Cairo that enjoys worldwide fame. You will visit the Papyrus Museum, where they will tell and show you how papyrus was made in ancient times, or a factory for scents and oils. Return journey and back to the hotel around 22:00.
