6:30 PM: Depart from the hotel. Leave the city noise behind and join our tour to an extraordinary and wild place. The Singapore Night Safari is the world's first park specifically designed for nocturnal animal observation. Located on 100 acres of lush forest, the Night Safari offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore the reserve at night in a tropical jungle setting. Through subtle lighting, Safari guests can observe approximately 1,000 nocturnal animals of 100 different species in their natural habitats. In the past 2 years, the Night Safari has been visited by 1.5 million people. The uniqueness of the Night Safari lies in the combination of landscape and specially designed open-reserve enclosures, with minimal barriers between visitors and wildlife. Soft lighting, slightly brighter than moonlight, is used to illuminate the reserve, allowing visitors to observe the animals without disturbing them. Maximum effort was made during the safari's construction phase to avoid damaging the vegetation. A 45-minute tram ride will take you on a fascinating journey across three continents of our planet – Asia, Africa, and South America.
Our little tram will depart from the first station, and you will find yourself in the foothills of the Himalayas. Then the landscape will completely change, and you will be in a river valley in Nepal, followed by the Indian subcontinent, Equatorial Africa, the Indo-Malayan region, the coastal forests of Asia, the South American pampas, the mountain slopes of Burma... The number of unique animals you will see is countless—golden jackal, striped hyena, Malayan tapir, red dhole, capybara, giant anteater, bongo, babirusa, Celebes warty pig, and many more... And if you want to see animals up close, take a walk along special paths laid through the tropical jungle. Return to the hotel around 9:00 PM.
